With the Christmas decorating completed, it’s time to turn my thoughts to this year’s holiday table.
Of course it will have to coordinate with this year’s Christmas Tree in Red and Black that stands close to the holiday table.
Christmas Tablescape in Red and Black
A simple plaid table runner was created by stitching black bias tape around the edge of a piece of plaid fabric which had been used in my Christmas decorating theme.
The centerpiece was achieved by tucking a few red berries into an evergreen swag.
Don’t you just love these lifelike greens found in the swag?
A few red balls were added to the swag to finish the centerpiece.
Large glass candle jars hold red and black ornaments to help coordinate our Christmas in Red and Black theme. By using just a few, it allows us to still view our guests across the table.
These black goblets are a perfect addition to this year’s Holiday Table.
Pencil Santas are added to the table to accent the arrangement.
Using the tall narrow Santas, we don’t block the view across the table.
Setting the table with these wonderful Christmas dishes adds just the right touch of elegance to our Holiday Table.
And no Christmas Tablescape in Red and Black would be complete without candles.
Now I am ready to add delicious food to those holiday dishes as we sit down for our Christmas dinner!!!
I hope your table is surrounded by family and friends during this blessed time of year!

Very classy Debi! I’m still a huge plaid fan and never tire of it. You’ve given me some great ideas, thank you!
Love the greenery with pops of red, and the old world santas
LOVE your pencil Santa’s. I’ve painted some that are my most cherished decorations. Where did you find the Santa with the moon? Your tips and ideas are so inspiring.
Debi,
I love your buffalo plaid table runner – and how clever you are to add the bias tape (making a mental note of that for the future). I love the black stemware with your setting.
Your table is beautifully decorated – it is stunning – I definitely made sure to pin this for future Christmas tablescape inspiration!
