Wild Rice, Mushroom and Broccoli Soup - Another Friday Food Favorite

Enjoy this quick and easy soup. Thick and hearty and oh so good.
  • 1 Box of Long Grain and Wild Rice Soup
  • 2 Cans of Chicken Broth
  • 1 Cup of Water
  • 2 Shredded Carrots
  • 1 (10 oz) Package of Chopped Broccoli
  • 1 (4 oz) Can of Mushroom Stems and Pieces
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 (8oz) Brick of Cream Cheese
  1. Mix chicken broth, water and rice with the seasoning packet and heat until boiling, Boil covered for 10 minutes.
  2. This is a thick and hearty soup. If you prefer your soup a bit thinner feel free to add more water or broth.
  3. Add vegetables and mushrooms and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the chicken soup and cream cheese.
  5. Let the cream cheese and soup dissolve.
  6. Heat until hot and it’s ready to serve.
