We all want easy Christmas ideas and we just can’t get any easier than today’s post project.
TARGET Santa Bucket
Not long ago my daughter and I took a quick trip to Target and we ran across these adorable little Santa buckets in the aisle right inside the door. While they were really cute, I didn’t really care for the silver scallop around the top. But for only $1, I grabbed up a few anyway because I already had an idea in mind for just what I would do with them.
This project is so simple and it turned out so cute, I just had to share it.
While shopping at Hobby Lobby, I found just what I was looking for to complete this project in the Christmas craft section – white marabou for just $1.
Gathering together the bucket, white marabou, glue tape and a miniature Christmas tree from my stash of decoration, let’s begin.
Simply run a row of the glue tape around the top of the Santa pail.
Cut your marabou the length of the circumference of the top of the pail and place it directly over the glue tape. I actually ran my marabou around the top of the pail twice to give it a nice full look. The piece I had purchased fit around twice perfectly.
And we are done!
These would make such cute little party favors, small gift bags.……..or you could drop in a miniature Christmas tree just like this.
Add a few miniature red ornaments and you have a perfect little decoration to sit on a shelf or add to your décor.
Now how simple was that?!
What great ways can you think of to use your Santa Pail?

That is just darling! I love it. Pinned.
Thank you so much. It was such a simple project and fun to do!
Too cute!! Thanks for the idea. I’m heading to Target and hoping there are some more left: they’ll be great filled with goodies next to each grandchild’s dinner plate on Christmas Day! You’re the best. Have a wonderful Christmas!!! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
