Wedding bells are ringing!
It’s the time of year when traditionally wedding bells began ringing. In times past, the summer months were often chosen by the bride as the time of year for her wedding. The weather was most always beautiful and the days were perfect for this special event. It’s probably no surprise that still holds true for today.
With the summer season quickly approaching, throughout the month of May, I will be sharing wedding tips and ideas from a variety of weddings. It was my joy to help create these weddings – each unique and personal in style. From a rustic barn wedding, to a wedding in a chapel …. From traditional to contemporary … Each filled with ideas to help you plan that very special day.
Whether you are the bride to be, the lucky parents, an honored guest, or you simply love weddings, I hope you find joy in the special events we visit.
Simple DIY Rustic Wedding Table Decor
Today I am sharing just a little teaser of what’s to come as we visit the table arrangements found at our rustic wedding in a barn.
The tables began with simple touches of various jars collected especially for the wedding.
Table numbers were fashioned from small wooden slabs and stenciled with each number and added to the arrangements.
With the bride and groom both being members of their church praise band, hymnals were used to bring a personal touch to the table decor.
Battery operated candles in a variety of sizes would bring a touch of warmth to the look.
A bit of fresh baby’s breath added to a vase on each table gave them a garden feel.
The head table held the bridal bouquets from the bridesmaids …
… Each one unique and different.
Simple table ideas for a beautiful rustic barn wedding.
Take time throughout the month ahead to stop by, be a guest, as we visit each featured wedding.
