Simple Steps to Arranging Flowers
This time of year flowers are abundant.
There are many ways to arrange flowers and many tricks to making your own floral creations look professionally arranged.
Long stem flowers are so beautiful and can be found in many of the latest decorating magazines.
Today I am sharing with you a quick and easy solution to displaying your long stemmed floral stems.
Begin with a vase with a medium sized opening, For this tutorial I have chosen a clear cylinder vase.
Using 1/4 inch floral tape place the tape across the top of the vase in rows approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inches apart.
Once your first row of tape has been placed repeat the same process adding a row of tape across the first row creating a grid.
For extra hold wrap a piece of the floral tape around the top securing the tape edged.
And now you are ready to arrange your floral stems.
I am using some beautiful lavender iris.
These are faux iris so I won’t be adding water to the vase but if they were real now would be the time to do so.
Simply begin inserting the stems between the grid formed by the tape pattern.
You can easily arrange many stems and keep them in place as you work.
If using faux florals and a clear vase, it works best to choose stems with life-like looking stems.
Once you have your floral stems placed stems of floral greens can be added to cover the “workings” of your grid.
And your creation is completed and ready to enjoy!
Perfect for a pleasing touch to your room.
Hope you enjoyed these simple step to arranging flowers!

Whenever a dedicated blogger stops posting, thoughts of “something bad” having happened go through my mind and I am sorry to hear that is what occurred with you. For sure, a cancer diagnosis must rock your world but I’m so happy to see you’ve made it through a lot of the journey and pray that the rest is not too tumultuous. We are pleased you are back!
